Since Agnes entered the arena of romance, every man she loved married the next girl he met. It was uncanny. All of them engaged within six months of encountering her. Understandably, this did nothing for her self-esteem. She changed her hair, started doing yoga, read countless magazines about what men want. Yet every frog she kissed became someone else’s prince. At least most had the courtesy to acknowledge her strange role as Cupid. She applied sugared pearls to each wedding cake and checked off another order. So she’s single and a bit of a slut, but it’s good for business.
